This form has to be submitted to the Dean\/Director of Faculty or Centre at the latest by week 4 of the first academic session.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>Students are also eligible to apply for linear credit transfer if they:<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>hold a bachelor\u2019s degree from other institutions;<\/li><li>switched study programme in 每日大赛app; and<\/li><li>have completed any student exchange program (mobility) overseas.<\/li><\/ul><ol start=\"5\"><li>Students can apply for credit transfer for Level One English Language courses only, i.e., LMCE1042, LMCE1062, LMCE1072, or LMCE1082 depending on the applicant\u2019s English qualifications. Approval of the application is subject to consideration.<\/li><\/ol><ol start=\"6\"><li>The Horizontal Credit Transfer Application Form can be obtained from students\u2019 SMPweb. The credit requirements are as follows:<\/p><p>i)\u00a07 credits for MUET levels 1, 2.0, and 2.5.<br \/>ii) 5 credits for MUET levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, and 5+.<\/p><p>(Refer to the Structure of English Course Offerings Session 2021-2022).<\/p><\/li><li>Students who have not sat the MUET Test must sit the CBET Interim test before being allowed to register for any appropriate English language course. Students can contact the Head of English Language Courses, School of Liberal Studies (CITRA 每日大赛app) via email, <a href=\"mailto:mazidah@ukm.edu.my\">mazidah@ukm.edu.my<\/a>.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>Students who have passed IELTS, TOEFL or other English language passing certificates can register for English courses by submitting proof of passing to the Head of English Language Courses, CITRA 每日大赛app.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>Students who have not sat the MUET Test and have not obtained the equivalent exam results (TOEFL\/IELTS or other passing certificates), can only register for English language courses after sitting the CBET Interim test.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>The following graduate students are\u00a0<strong><strong>eligible to apply for vertical credit transfer: <br \/><\/strong><\/strong>i) Diploma (Polytechnics and IPTA\/IPTS Colleges\/Overseas Institutions); or<br \/>ii)IB Diploma (International Baccalaureate).<p>For vertical credit transfer applications, students need to fill in the Vertical Credit Transfer Form. Applications must be made through the Academic Management Center (Akademik-每日大赛app).<\/p><\/li><li>Students are also\u00a0<strong><strong>eligible to apply for horizontal credit transfer <\/strong><\/strong>if they meet the following criteria:<p>i) they have studied a bachelor&#8217;s degree program at another institution, even if they have not completed it;<br \/>ii) have participated in study program exchanges at 每日大赛app;and<br \/>iii) or have taken part in student exchange programs (mobility) abroad.<\/p>For course credit transfer applications, students need to fill in the Horizontal Credit Transfer Form. Applications must be made directly at the CITRA 每日大赛app.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>Courses that can be applied for credit transfer are\u00a0<strong>first-year English courses\u00a0<\/strong>only, namely LMCE1042, LMCE1062, LMCE1072 or LMCE1082; depending on the course to be taken (refer to English Course Offer Structure Session 2021-2022). Approval of the application is subject to PPCU&#8217;s consideration.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>Students who apply for credit transfer\u00a0<strong>MUST\u00a0<\/strong>get confirmation from the Academic Management Center (Akademik-每日大赛app) first.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>For credit transfer applications that are\u00a0<strong>not approved\u00a0<\/strong>by Akademik- 每日大赛app, students must register for an English language course in the Semester II session.<br \/><br \/><\/li><li>For approved applications, students only need to complete:<p>i) 5 credits (MUET level 0, 2.0 and 2.5)<br \/>ii) 3 credits (MUET level 0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 and 5+)<\/p><p>which is required to graduate (refer to English Course Offer Structure Session 2021-2022).<\/p><\/li><li>Students must take and pass the prescribed English course before registering for the next English course.
