Its dominance continues to influence agricultural investors even after the American Soyabean Association&#8217;s campaign that resulted in the decline of demand for the Malaysia&#8217;s palm oil in the late 80&#8217;s. An analysis is therefore necessary to identify choice in portfolio investment between oilpalm and rubber in a simplified E-V frontier problem. The result evidently suggests that although oilpalm was able to generate a higher expected return, it was much more risky compared to rubber.
