The social media used in this study is mainly Twitter. The vector autoregression approach was applied to examine trending issues, which involved daily data observation and observed from 17 August 2021 until 17 December 2021. These estimations revealed that past users\u2019 sentiments have significantly influenced the return of the S&amp;P 500 and Bitcoin, as supported by the Granger causality test and variance decomposition. The findings of this study could be helpful for both policymakers and investors in their efforts to develop plans to lessen market volatility, particularly in terms of future unfavourable events.
