Submission of articles implies that the work described has not been published previously or it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out, and if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, without the written consent from the publisher. Jurnal Kejuruteraan (Journal of Engineering) also accept manuscripts in Malay (Bahasa Melayu) language. However, kindly take note that the title and abstract must be prepared in both Malay and English languages for Bahasa Melayu manuscripts.<\/p>

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission\u2019s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.<\/p>

1. Please adhere to the following format:<\/p>

\u270e Original research papers (technical article) \u2013 should be minimum 3000 words and up to a maximum of 7000 words. Be inform that the count only from the Introduction until Conclusion and would be excluding the Abstract and the References.<\/p>

b) The abstract should be clear, descriptive and should provide a brief information to the problem. This should generally be followed by a statement regarding the methodology and a brief summary of results. The abstract should end with a comment on the significance of the result or a brief conclusion. Abstract are written preferably from 200 to 250 words. For articles written in Malay language (Bahasa Melayu), the abstract must be written in both Malay and English. However, for articles written in English language, authors are not required to provide abstract and title in Malay language.<\/p>

Keywords: Maximum of five (5) relevant keywords.<\/p>

c) Introduction: Please provide statement of the problems, outline of the paper and important findings<\/p>

d) Experimental\/ methodology<\/p>

e) Results & Discussion<\/p>

f) Conclusion<\/p>

g) Acknowledgement<\/p>

h) Declaration of competing interest<\/p>

i) References<\/p>

All publications cited in the text should be included in the reference list. References should be listed in an alphabetical order according to ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp styles format. Example of references can be referred to the template of manuscript.<\/p>

j) Tables<\/p>

Number of tables consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. Please use Arabic numerals and supply a heading. Tables and their captions should be centered on the page. Place footnotes to the table below the table body and indicate them with superscript lowercase letters. Be sparing in the use of the tables and ensure that the data presented in the table do not duplicate results described elsewhere in the article.<\/p>

k) Figures<\/p>

Figures are sequentially numbered commencing at Figure 1 and followed by their captions and are placed at the bottom of the figure. Please ensure that figures are clear and legible with typed lettering.<\/p>

l) Nomenclature, symbols and abbreviation<\/p>

Only wide used accepted symbols and forms of abbreviations should be used, but always give full expression followed by the abbreviation the first time it appears in the text. Abbreviations and symbols used in the tables and figures should be explained in the legend. The used of symbols in the text should be avoided as much as possible as they disrupt the flow of the sentences as well as the appearance of the typeset page. In no case should a combination of symbols and words be used.<\/p>

2. Manuscript Template<\/strong><\/p>

Jurnal Kejuruteraan practices double-blind review process. Therefore, all authors are required to submit their original research papers or review papers in two formats: with and anonymous authors\u2019 details. Templates can be accessed in the \u2018Templates and Forms\u2019 section.<\/p>

Authors are required to submit a Potential Reviewers Suggestion Form that includes four (4) potential reviewers during submission. Please note that the suggested reviewers must not be from the same organization as the authors. Two (2) reviewers can be from the same country as the authors and another two (2) reviewers are from abroad. However, please note that The Editor-in-Chief will decide on assigning the suggested reviewers based on their expertise and publication track records.<\/p>

4. Proofs and reprints<\/strong><\/p>

The accepted article will be regarded as final, and the files will be processed as such. Proofs are for checking typesetting \/editing: only printer errors maybe corrected.
