This study aims to determine how digital organizational culture, digital capability, and digital innovation impact organizational performance. The partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was utilized to analyze the data obtained from 238 respondents affiliated with Indonesian pharmaceutical state-owned enterprises (SOEs). The results of this study suggest that while digital organizational culture does not directly affect organizational performance, it does so indirectly through digital innovation, which acts as a mediating variable. Second, digital capability affects organizational performance directly as well as indirectly through digital innovation. This study empirically provides confirmation of how organizational performance is achieved in pharmaceutical companies, especially during the COVID-19 era. In addition, the findings show some substantial implications for management by focusing on digital organizational culture and digital capability as fundamental predictors of organizational performance through digital innovation.

Corporate Social Responsibility and Market Orientation: An Integrated Approach Towards Organizational Performance /jurnalpengurusan/article/corporate-social-responsibility-and-market-orientation-an-integrated-approach-towards-organizational-performance/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=corporate-social-responsibility-and-market-orientation-an-integrated-approach-towards-organizational-performance Sat, 15 Oct 2022 10:48:40 +0000 /jurnalpengurusan/?post_type=article&p=6386 Takaful operators in countries dominated by Muslim are still experiencing low penetration rate. New emerging customer segments have higher expectation where Takaful operators need more innovative approaches in acquiring and retaining customers. Moreover, Takaful companies need to apply marketing, societal and entrepreneurial concept to make the industry more competitive. Although many Islamic banking and Takaful studies have been conducted, empirical Takaful research is still limited. Therefore, the primary focus of this study is to empirically investigate the influence of market orientation and corporate social responsibility (cSR) towards Takaful agencies’ organizational performance in Malaysia. The first phase of the study involved refinement of cSR measurement items by performing exploratory factor analysis (EFA), where a new dimension was identified. The second phase of study was to test the hypotheses by employing all items adopted from past studies including the refined cSR measures. PLS-SEM analysis involving a two-step approach on 211 valid data shows co-adoption of cSR and market orientation influences organizational performance.

Hubungan antara Pengurusan Sumber Manusia dengan Prestasi Organisasi: Kajian Empirikal Terhadap Organisasi Pembuatan di Malaysia /jurnalpengurusan/article/hubungan-antara-pengurusan-sumber-manusia-dengan-prestasi-organisasi-kajian-empirikal-terhadap-organisasi-pembuatan-di-malaysia/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=hubungan-antara-pengurusan-sumber-manusia-dengan-prestasi-organisasi-kajian-empirikal-terhadap-organisasi-pembuatan-di-malaysia Tue, 11 Oct 2022 08:09:48 +0000 /jurnalpengurusan/?post_type=article&p=5377 This study explores the relationship between human resource management (HRM) and organizational performance of manufacturing organizations in Malaysia. A total of 137 organizations were involved in this study. Multiple regression analysis results showed that there was a multi collinearity problem among the HRM variables, but this problem was resolved using the principle component analysis method. Further, simple linear regression model was developed to analyze the relationship between HRM aspects of organizational performance. Simple linear regression analysis results indicated that the model developed had a significant F value at the significant level of 0.01. In addition, the results also showed that HRM collectively accounted for 29.5 percent of the variance in the human resource outcomes, and 26.3 percent of the variance in operational performance.

The Influence of External Contingency Factors and Activity-Based Costing Implementation on Organizational Performance /jurnalpengurusan/article/the-influence-of-external-contingency-factors-and-activity-based-costing-implementation-on-organizational-performance/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=the-influence-of-external-contingency-factors-and-activity-based-costing-implementation-on-organizational-performance Sat, 08 Oct 2022 16:16:30 +0000 /jurnalpengurusan/?post_type=article&p=3090 The Activity-Based Costing (ABC) system continues to gain attention due to the increasing challenges in the current business environment. This situation motivated the researchers to examine external contingency factors (environmental uncertainty (EU) and market orientation (MO)) that influence ABC implementation and the possible effects of ABC implementation on organizational performance. This study also examines the mediating effect of ABC implementation on the relationship between external contingency factors and organizational performance in a developing economy. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 114 manufacturing companies in Iraq. The data was analyzed using PLS3-SEM, and the results revealed that EU and MO have a positive and significant effect on ABC implementation, and that ABC implementation has a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. Furthermore, this study establishes the mediating role of ABC implementation on the relationship between external contingency factors and organizational performance.
