A Visit by Madras University to KITA, 20 August 2019

Madras University’s Director of International Centre (ICOM) and Head of the Department of Anthropology, Prof. Dr. S. Sumathi visited KITA on Tuesday August 20, 2019. She was received by KITA Director Distinguished Prof. Datuk Dr. Shamsul Amri Baharuddin together with KITA Principal Fellows Prof. Dr. Mansor Mohd. Noor & Prof. Datuk Dr. Denison Jayasooria and KITA Senior Associate Fellow Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chang Peng Kee who had visited Madras University in 2018. During the visit at KITA Prof. Dr. S. Sumathi also met with other ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp lecturers from Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSK).

KITA-ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp is exploring to sign a letter of intention and cooperation with Madras University in a number of field pertaining to diaspora studies with both faculty and student exchange.
