Poverty Dialogue 3.0, 23 October 2025

On October 23, 2025, the UNESCO Club of ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp in collaboration with MyPropertyIs had organized Poverty Dialogue 3.0. Under the theme “Is the Minimum Wage Enough?”, the one-day youth-led dialogue aimed to enhance awareness and understanding of the minimum wage and socioeconomic inequality through sharings by experts from multidisciplinary perspectives: Datuk Hj. Shamsuddin Bardan (Malaysian Employers Federation, MEF), Umar Aiman Abd Manan (HungerHurts Malaysia), Dr. Rospidah Bt. Ghazali (LESTARI-ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazrul Izuan Bin Shahiri (Faculty of Economics and Management, ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp), Sharifah Hani Yasmin Syed Abdullah (One Step Closer) and Chong Zhi Zheng (Institute of Strategic and International Studies Malaysia, ISIS). KITA Research Fellow and Manager of UNESCO Chair at ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp, Dr. Nurul Akqmie Badrul Hisham participated in the event as an advisor for the UNESCO Club.
