What is foniks*PINTAR?<\/strong>
\nfoniks*PINTAR is a highly structured, systematic and phonics-based instructional program to help all children, with and without learning disabilities, to read and write in Bahasa Melayu. Its cumulative and repetitive structure and use of multi-sensorial activities have been shown in various literacy camps to enhance both reading and writing.<\/p>\n

foniks*PINTAR builds the brain for literacy by employing current reading science research of the importance of listening, phonological awareness and vocabulary.<\/p>\n

Target participants<\/strong>
\nParents, teachers in kindergartens, preschools and primary schools, teacher-training institutes, education officers and other interested individuals<\/p>\n

Aim of Workshop<\/strong>
\nThe workshop will equip participants with the skills to help all emergent and struggling readers to learn to read and spell in Bahasa Melayu using a structured, systematic, phonics-based and multi-sensorial instructional program.<\/p>\n

Payment<\/strong>
\nRegistration fee: RM200 per person (includes morning tea, lunch and e-certificate [for participants who complete feedback form])
\nHandout pack: RM70 per person (photocopies of Book 1-10, worksheets, exercise sheets, CD of Malay songs)<\/p>\n
