It uses the principles of Orton-Gillingham method of teaching phonics in a systematic and<br \/>\nstep-wise manner. SMARTER*phonics builds the brain for literacy by employing current reading science research of the importance of listening, phonological awareness, vocabulary. Its cumulative and repetitive structure and use of multi-sensorial activities have been shown in various projects to enhance both reading and writing.
