BANGI, 31 May 2025 \u2013 To commemorate World Kidney Day, the Student Executive Council (Welfare and Safety) of Kolej Ibu Zain (KIZ) successfully launched a comprehensive Health Carnival at Dewan Sutera. The program focused on bridging the gap between medical expertise and the campus community, emphasizing that “prevention is better than cure”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Multi-Stakeholder Approach to SDG 3<\/strong> In alignment with SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being)<\/strong>, the carnival served as a one-stop center for health literacy and medical services. Through a strategic partnership with HCTM<\/strong> and NKF<\/strong>, the event offered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Free Clinical Screenings:<\/strong> Attendees underwent blood glucose, BMI, and blood pressure checks to identify early warning indicators of hypertension or diabetes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expert Education:<\/strong> Interactive health talks and nutritional exhibitions provided participants with actionable advice on maintaining long-term kidney health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community Mobilization:<\/strong> The event successfully reached 150 students and 50 staff members, fostering a culture of proactive health monitoring within ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
