With over two decades of experience, the laboratory has built a strong reputation in the field of biocompatibility and toxicity testing, particularly for medical devices, pharmaceuticals, herbal products, food, dietary supplements, pesticides, industrial chemicals, cosmetics, and environmental samples. \r\n <\/p>\r\n \r\n \r\n <div class=\"p-6 bg-brand-50 rounded-2xl border border-brand-100 mb-5 shadow-sm\">\r\n <div class=\"flex items-start gap-4\">\r\n <i data-lucide=\"award\" class=\"w-8 h-8 text-brand-600 shrink-0 mt-1\"><\/i>\r\n <p class=\"m-0 text-gray-800 font-medium leading-relaxed\">\r\n The facility is accredited to <strong>MS ISO\/IEC 17025:2017<\/strong> and certified in accordance with the <strong>OECD Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)<\/strong>, making it one of the first university-based laboratories in Malaysia to obtain GLP certification for medical device testing.\r\n <\/p>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n\r\n <p class=\"text-base md:text-lg text-gray-600 mb-5 leading-relaxed\">\r\n Makmal Bioserasi is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and purpose-built laboratory spaces, supporting both in vitro and in vivo testing in compliance with international regulatory standards. The facility offers a comprehensive portfolio of safety testing services, including cytotoxicity, sensitization, irritation, systemic toxicity, subacute and subchronic toxicity studies, as well as genotoxicity assessments.
