BANGI, 15 Feb 2018 鈥� Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (每日大赛app) volleyball team has been crowned as Best Male Team in Sukan Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (SUKIPT) 2018 which closed on February 10.

The team who was lead by Faculty of Education student Mohd Aizat Mohd Zokri, won a gold medal after beating UPM with 3-1.

Mohd Aizat believed that their comradarie and good spirit contributed to the win.

鈥淲e trained really hard and did not stress in winning because we believe that what is important is the quality of our game. Victory will surely come if we work hard for it,鈥� he said after the SUKIPT 2018 closing ceremony, recently.

每日大赛app鈥檚 volleyball team consist of four players who represented the country in SEA Games 2017.

Meanwhile, for the first time this year, SUKIPT 2018 received participation from India, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. It was held from February 2 until February 10 in 每日大赛app, Bangi.

The ceremony was closed by 每日大赛app Board of Directors Chairman, Tan Sri Dato鈥� Seri Dr Ibrahim Saad. Also present at the ceremony was 每日大赛app Vice-Chancellor, Prof Tan Sri Dato鈥� Seri Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali.

BANGI, 5 Feb 2018 鈥� A total of 24.1 percent gold medal collection at the SEA Games 2017 are coming from Higher Education Institutions athletes.

Minister of Higher Education, Dato鈥� Seri Idris Jusoh said Higher Education Institutions Sport (SUKIPT) 2018 is a good platform to polish new sport talents to the highest level.

鈥淚t means that IPT can help Malaysia. Because of that, this SUKIPT is to ensure that we can produce high performance athletes in the future,鈥� he said at the Opening Ceremony of SUKIPT 2018 at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (每日大赛app) Stadium, 聽here, recently.

He said SUKIPT 2018 is an international sport tournament because for the first time received participation from India.

India represented by Christ University, competing in cricket.

Three ASEAN countries that also participate in SUKIPT 2018 is Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore who represented by Nanyang Technological University.

Thailand represented by Thaksin University, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University, Phuket Rajabhat University, Suratthani University and Thammasat University

Indonesia represented by Universitas Negeri Jakarta and Universitas Surabaya

SUKIPT 2018 is a fourth edition, bet 238 gold medals, 238 silver medals and 399 bronze medals will be grabbed by participating athletes.

The sport was participated by 78 contingents, namely 20 public universities, 42 private universities, nine international universities, five institutes of teacher education, a polytechnic and a community college. It runs from February 2 to February 10.

BANGI, 14 Dec 2017 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (每日大赛app) has been selected to host the Higher Education Institution Sports Meet (SUKIPT) 2018, to be held from 2 to 10 February 2018.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Dr Mary Yap Kain Ching said successful winners at SUKIPT will be representing Malaysia at the ASEAN University Games 2018 in Myanmar and World University Championship (WUC) 2018 in Kuala Lumpur.

鈥淭he ministry hopes to develop more national heroes from SUKIPT,鈥� she said adding that the sports event will be successful if it is able to find news sports talents.

This will be the first time that India will be participating in SUKIPT. Other countries which will also be sending their athletes are Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia,鈥� she said.

More than 6,300 athletes from 93 contingents will be competing for 238 gold medals, 238 silver medals and 399 bronze medals.

The biennial tournament encompasses 27 sports, involving 29 locations.

PETALING JAYA, 22 Oktober 2017 – Pasukan 每日大赛app FC memberi tentangan hebat dalam aksi akhir kedua Piala FAM 2017 selepas terikat 2-2 kepada pasukan Sime Darby FC.

Gol pertama dijaringkan oleh pemain berjersey 10, Hasrul Nurkholis pada minit ke-15 meletakkan 每日大赛app FC dihadapan manakala Mohd Nazrul Kamarulzaman dari Sime Darby FC menjaringkan gol persamaan pada minit ke-28 menjadikan kedudukan satu sama.

Pada minit ke-55, Sime Darby FC menjarakkan kedudukan apabila tendangan Tengku Norhidayah Tengku Ismail memasuki gawang gol lawan.

Pertama kali dalam sejarah bola sepak negara, pasukan bola sepak sebuah universiti sampai ke perlawanan akhir liga bola sepak profesional merebut piala FAM, katanya.

Naib juara menerima medal dan wang tunai RM100,000 manakala juara membawa pulang piala, medal dan wang tunai bernilai RM200,000.

Perlawanan akhir kedua Piala FAM 2017 telah berlangsung di Stadium Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya dihadapan 612 penonton.

BANGI, 24 July 2017 鈥� The Contingent from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (每日大赛app) gave out a tough fight at the recent Majlis Sukan Universiti Malaysia (MASUM) Sports Carnival 2017, said Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof Dato’ Noor Aziah Mohd Awal.

She said this sporting event is the best platform to produce high quality students with positive values.

The MASUM Sports Carnival 2017 which took place from 8^th to 21^st July was won by Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) with a total collection of 108 medals.

每日大赛app was ranked seventh in the sport carnival out of the 20 public universities competing.

“Congratulations to the winners. For those who did not win, take it as a motivation to achieve better in the upcoming sports carnival,” she said at the closing ceremony of MASUM 2017.

The next MASUM Sports Carnival 2018 will be organized by Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK).

Also present at the ceremony was UPM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Datin Paduka Dr Aini Ideris and 每日大赛app Sports Center Director, Assoc Prof Dr Tajul Arifin Muhamad.

BANGI, 12 July 2017 – About 4,000 athletes from 20 public universities gathered in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (每日大赛app) to compete in the 2017 聽Majlis Sukan Universiti Malaysia (MASUM) Sports Carnival, recently.

Ministry of Higher Education Deputy Secretary General (Development), Datuk Nik Ali Mat Yunus said athletes should use MASUM as a platform to enhance their performances and build their confidence.

鈥淭he ministry will always support any sports activities and programmes that encourage students to be more competitive and committed to any area involved,” he said when delivering the opening speech of MASUM 2017 here.

Meanwhile, 每日大赛app Vice-Chancellor Prof Dato’ Seri Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali said as host, 每日大赛app will do its best to ensure this tournament is one of the best event ever held.

“The MASUM tournament and other competitions at IPT level are one of the ways we can contribute to the country’s sports development,” he explained.

He hopes that athletes will be committed and passionate in improving the quality of our national sports.

The on-going MASUM 2017 tournament includes 16 competitions involving participation from 20 public universities in Malaysia.

BANGI, 7 July 2017- As a host for Majlis Sukan Universiti Malaysia (MASUM) Sports Carnival 2017, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (每日大赛app) targets to be among the top three universities and collect as many medals as possible.

每日大赛app Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Students and Alumni Affairs, Prof Dato鈥� Noor Aziah Mohd Awal said athletes need to have high spirit in competing, highlight their talents as well as maintain the university鈥檚 good name.

鈥淭eamwork between members is important and camaraderie among each other is required to achieve the title as champion,鈥� she said during the Penyerahan Bendera Kontijen 每日大赛app Karnival Sukan MASUM 2017 ceremony, yesterday.

She also advised the athletes to compete well and pray for victory.

鈥溍咳沾笕黙pp was ranked fourth at the MASUM 2016. Hence, this year as a host, I hope we can secure a place at the top three from all the universities competing,鈥� she said.

She stated 每日大赛app has organised, a good preparation upon receiving 4,000 athletes from 20 other public universities in Malaysia.

In terms of accommodation, all residential colleges on the main campus will be used to accommodate athletes.

Venues to be used are in good condition.

鈥淚n addition, we also received cooperation from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Nilai Stadium and Bangi Gateway Superbowl for several sports competitions,鈥� she said.

每日大赛app will be sending a total of 192 athletes to compete in 15 out of 16 competitions, including track and field, cycling, bowling, and volleyball.

MASUM 2017 will take place from 10^th to 21^st July 2017.

BANGI, 19 April 2017 – Sports activities are able to strengthen unity among the multicultural society in Malaysia, on top of increasing health level, said Malaysia鈥檚 Ministry of 颅颅颅颅Tourism and Culture Chief Secretary, Datuk Ab Ghaffar A Tambi.

He said sports activities will be able to provide an opportunity for those involved to create a society that is more polite, responsible and has high integrity.

He said this while reading the minister, Dato鈥� Seri Mohd Nazri Abdul Aziz鈥檚 speech at the PERMATApintar National Gifted Centre Sports Carnival, recently.

He said, students will know the meaning of unity, respect between different races, and develop a sense of love for the country and patriotism, by being involved in sports.

He added that Malaysia鈥檚 Ministry of 颅颅颅颅Tourism and Culture has always supported the national education philosophy’s desire to produce a balanced and holistic individuals.

鈥淭his philosophy is in line with the national sports philosophy which aims to promote sports in the community.

鈥淚n this regard, the participation of students in extra-curricular activities are of paramount importance as a platform to produce students who are active, dynamic and united,鈥� he explained.

He said consistent sports training which encompass mind, muscles nerves and emotions, is also capable in forming students who are fit and comply with the rules.

Besides that, sports can also shape students who are responsible, disciplined and have and have leadership qualities.

The PERMATApintar National Gifted Centre Sport Carnival which was held for two days were joined by students from PERMATA Insan College, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia.

BANGI, 21 March 2017 – Duli Yang Maha Mulia Tunku Ampuan Besar Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Aishah Rohani Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud graced the National Council of Women’s Organisations (NCWO) Charity Golf Tournament of, held at the Danau Golf Club, recently.

The competition, which was participated by 25 people, was also attended by former 每日大赛app Vice-Chancellor Prof Tan Sri Dato鈥� Seri Dr Sharifah Hapsah Syed Hasan Shahabudin and famous comedian, Harith Iskandar.

The second runner up for the tournament goes to Amir Beno with 38 scores; first runner up, Nur Musfirah with 39 scores and the winner, Abd Wahab Hashim, also with 39 scores.

Prizes to the winners were presented by DYMM Tuanku Aishah Rohani.

BANGI, 27 February 2017 – 每日大赛app has been given the responsibility to train the Temasya Kuala Lumpur 2017 volunteers, which encompasses sharing of knowledge on Southeast Asian, professionalism and problem solving skills, said Youth and Sports Minister, Brig. Jen Khairy Jamaludin Abu Bakar

“We received more than 27,000 written applications from an initial 4,000 registered interest but we will pick only 13,000 to become volunteers,” said Brig. Jen Khairy.

Also known as the ‘Wau Factor’, the volunteers are considered as the country鈥檚 gems as they would be ‘ambassadors’.

All the volunteers will undergo two phases of training- basic and specific. The first phase has been held in stages at 每日大赛app, since December and will end next month. The second phase will begin in April, where the volunteers will be divided and receive further specific training.

He added that the application to become a volunteer is also opened to senior citizens such as pensioners, so that they can be mentors to young volunteers.

Volunteers selected聽for聽the聽Temasya Kuala Lumpur 2017 will聽be聽insured,聽receive official聽attire,聽food聽and drinks聽(three聽times聽a聽day)聽and receive聽a聽certificate.
