A total of 128 gifted students aged 16 registered today for the two year programme.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They will be taught differently from normal schools. Each student have to take a test, to gauge their knowledge on a particular topic at the beginning of each class.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They will then be separated into groups with each group taught differently to maximise their knowledge at every lessons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two year programme is designed to produce thinkers who can pave the way for innovations. They are taught to apply their knowledge to solve problems by being innovative.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apart from the academic programme the students will receive mentoring by researchers from the university. Their mentors will be selected based on their fields of interest.
