Her main expertise is in pelvic floor imaging. She is the first Malaysian gynaecologist to be formally trained in Translabial \/ Transperineal Pelvic Floor ultrasound (PFUS). She is an active member of International Urogynaecology Association (IUGA) Pelvic Floor Imaging Special Interest Group (SIG) and is a preceptor of IUGA online academy for PFUS. Dr. Ixora obtained her PhD in 2018 from University of Sydney with her thesis \u2018Pelvic floor trauma following vaginal childbirth\u2019. She has been awarded the \u2018Isobel Corin Award\u2019 for young researchers in 2012 and 2014, by the Nepean Medical Research Foundations (Australia) and, the University of Sydney Postgraduate Research Scheme in 2014 and 2015 to present her work in pelvic floor trauma internationally. She is actively engaged in pelvic floor research and has international research network. Her special interest is in Maternal Birth Trauma and she has just set up a Maternal Birth trauma clinic in HCTM 每日大赛app, a specially designated clinic aimed to manage women who had sustained major perineal trauma.
