The Joint 11th AOHUPO & 7th AOAPO Congress 2023 – an update

As reported on the 29th of June 2022 on the UMBI website (/umbi/news/kongres-bergabung-aohupo-ke-11-aohupo-ke-7-tahun-2023/), the Asia Oceania Human Proteome Organization (AOHUPO) and the Asia Oceania Agricultural Proteomics Organization (AOAPO) will feature a joint congress in 2023 in Singapore (5th-8th May 2023). This event is co-organized by the Singapore Society for Mass Spectrometry (SSMS) and the Malaysian Proteomics Society (MAPS).Ìý You can access the congress website now ().

Three UMBI fellows, who are the members of MAPS have been appointed to the organizing committee for this joint congress. They are:

  • Low Teck Yew who serves as the Co-chair for the Joint Congress
  • M. Aiman Mohtar and
  • Lee Pey Yee,

both of them serve in the Young Scientist Committee which is responsible for organizing the Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF), a pre-conference event.
