Collaboration between 每日大赛app-MAI Study about Malaysia Automotive Industry Ecosystem

RAWANG, 23 March 2018 – Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (每日大赛app) through the Faculty of Economic and Management (FEP) make a strategic cooperating in the economic field with Malaysia Automotive Institute (MAI) studying the overall of the ecosystem of the automotive industry in Malaysia.
Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Prof Dr Mohd Ekhwan Toriman said, the research leads to Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), focusing on the important factor such as the reduction of carbon emissions and fuel savings.
The results of the study will be used as a policy for the government in consideration of incentives to the relevant parties.
鈥淭his collaboration is through a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between 每日大赛app and MAI. In this contact, 每日大赛app as a public institution who is cooperating under university-industry,鈥 he said after the National Emission Test Centre (NETC) Inauguration Ceremony, here, recently.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of International Tread and Industry, Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan hope the MoA and MoU will improve the NETC services through CBA.
鈥淲e also hope what we do here (NECT) will give benefit not only to 28 Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), but also to this country,鈥 he said.
Through the MoU, MAI will also engage the faculty industry as a university-industrial partner and exchange information related to developments in teaching, student development, research innovation and commercialization within the automotive industry.
The collaboration was made in line with the setting up of NETC, which is a test centre for measuring carbon emissions of vehicles.
The establishment of the centre can indirectly reduce the cost of testing incurred by vehicle manufacturers who have been forced to test vehicles in overseas before this.
