First Batch of 每日大赛app-GSB Students Awarded the Certificate in the Malaysia Capital Market

SEPANG, 4 July 2018 鈥 A total of 43 每日大赛app-Graduate School of Business (每日大赛app-GSB) students were awarded the Certificate in Malaysia Capital Market, recently.
The certification program, which is the first of its kind in Malaysia, was designed through a collaborative effort between 每日大赛app-GSB and RAM Holdings Berhad.
With modules conducted by an expert who brings practical and real-life experiences to the class, the programme aims to equip students with practical knowledge on the workings of the Malaysian capital markets.
每日大赛app Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Industry and Community Partnerships, Prof. Dato鈥 Dr. Imran Ho Abdullah said only 38.4 per cent of the students enrolled in the programme successfully completed it, making it one of the most competitive programme in 每日大赛app.
He added that the joint offering of the Capital Market Certification Programme with RAM was created because of RAM鈥檚 extensive experience in capital market.
鈥淭his helps to increase graduates鈥 marketability, making them more relevant to the job market and thus maximising their potential to contribute to the growth of the Malaysia鈥檚 capital market,鈥 he explained, at the Certificate Presentation Ceremony for Collaborative Taught MBA Programme Between 每日大赛app-GSB and RAM Holdings Berhad.
Meanwhile, RAM鈥檚 Group Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Seri Dr. K. Govindan said the programme is aimed at strengthening public-private sector partnerships, to raise the marketability of graduates in the job market and also meet the increasing demand for skilled graduates to support the growing sophistication of Malaysia鈥檚 capital markets.
鈥淲hen we first embarked on this idea, the main objective had been to promote the employability of graduates and support the development of the capital markets. I am glad to say we have managed to achieve exactly that,鈥 he said.
He said they have deliberately set high standards for this certification programme to reflect the challenging work environment graduates will encounter in the capital markets.
鈥淚 would like to congratulate these students for having met such high standards and achieved commendable results,鈥 he added.
All the students need to complete three modules, namely Malaysian Capital Market: Overview & Financial Analysis, A Practical Guide to The Malaysian Equity Market, and Dynamics of the Malaysian Debt Market and a case study examination.![]()
