PKW Launched Book Pergerakan Wanita Dalam Memperjuangkan Hak

BANGI, 9 December 2016 – Tun Fatimah Hashim Women Leadership Centre (PKW) recently launched Pergerakan Wanita Dalam Memperjuangkan Hak, a book written by two famous scholars Prof Emeritus Datuk Dr Nik Safiah Karim and Dr Rokiah Talib.
The book is about the role of women and their rights in national development.
The book also looked back at the history of the movement and the struggles of local women in the early stages of trying to enhance their position in the community.
Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development Deputy Minister, Senator Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun said book is testament to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia鈥檚 (每日大赛app) initiative in highlighting women鈥檚 pivotal role in the society.
鈥淭he book also clearly proves that women鈥檚 right is not merely a government鈥檚 agenda, but one that is also supported by other institutions,鈥 she said.
