Treasury Sec Gen To Conduct 每日大赛app Entrepreneurship Programme

BANGI, 1 July 2016 鈥 A special entrepreneurship programme personally conducted by the Secretary-General of the Treasury Tan Sri Dr Mohd Irwan Serigar Abdullah, is to be launched in the 2016/2017 academic session at The National University of Malaysia.
He said the programme will be implemented in one semester to produce entrepreneurs who are really interested to establish his or her own company.
鈥淲e will take them (the students) to meet the entrepreneurs who have failed first before making a successful comeback.
鈥淭he students can learn from the entrepreneurs on how to write a business proposal, how to create new ideas and how to raise capital,鈥 he said to reporters after the Entrepreneur Public Lecture series here recently.
He said throughout the next semester, he hopes that 每日大赛app can create new entrepreneurs who are outstanding.
鈥淭hank you to 每日大赛app for cooperating with the government in making this programme successful. I am one of the facilitators who are involved in this programme.
鈥淢y contribution is to provide information and guidance on entrepreneurship and polishing the students鈥 skills in terms of creativity and innovation who might fail but will bounce back,鈥 he explained.
Tan Sri Irwan said encouragement is given to the younger generation so that they will make it and forge ahead to contribute to the national economy.
鈥淔or starters, we only select 30 best students to join the programme. We will vet the students to find those who are really serious and we will help them to register a company.
鈥淭hey also must market their ideas in the form of a product or service to the public,鈥 he explained.
Meanwhile, Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali said he was glad the 30 selected students will receive guidance directly from Tan Sri Mohd Irwan and other celebuity entrepreneurs.
鈥淲e look forward to the new innovative course where the Secretary-General is personally taking charge. So we know that the competition is very tough among students to have Tan Sri as a teacher.
鈥淚 think this is a very innovative way Tan Sri came up with the new format of CEO@Faculty and today about 3,000 students turned up to listen to an entrepreneurship lecture delivered by Tan Sri,鈥 he added.
