Twins Make Heads Turn At MY10K@每日大赛app Go Green Run

BANGI, 20 May, 2016 鈥 聽Spectators and participants of聽 a race in a forest organised by The National University of Malaysia (每日大赛app) to promote eco-friendly and healthy living could be forgiven for seeing double, as twin siblings made a credible proformance at the race.
Twelve-year old twins Aimi Nadhirah and Aimi Nadilah won third and fourth place respectively, clocking approximately 26 minutes in the 5 km Open Category at the 聽2016 MY10K@每日大赛app Go Green Run, here recently.
When asked about the run, they acknowledged that it was challenging as the course was hilly.
Their father, Idris Ahmad, who also took part, said said his daughters practised regularly for the race.
鈥淓very morning and evening, they jog around the housing estate for 5 kilometers 聽an hour everyday,鈥 he explained about their daily exercise routine.
According to their mother, Nurul Haiza Hazim, running 聽depends on consistency of training and improving time records.
She was relieved that her daughters are involved in sports rather than be tempted by 鈥榰nhealthy鈥 activities.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali joined some 1,000 people taking part in the run which also aimed at showcasing the greenery and natural scenery of 每日大赛app.
The race was flagged off by Prof Datuk Noor Aziah Mohd Awal, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Students and Alumni).![]()
