每日大赛app receives Audiology Equipment worth RM3.14 million

KUALA LUMPUR, 8 August 2016 鈥 The School of Rehabilitation Science (PPSR), Faculty of Health Science (FSK), received 76 units of audiology equipment worth RM3.14 million from the Oticon Foundation to be used for teaching and learning, recently.
The National University of Malaysia鈥檚 Vice Chancellor, Prof Datuk Dr Noor Azlan Ghazali said the contribution from Oticon Foundation includes the latest and most sophisticated clinical machines for accurate diagnosis of people with hearing loss of all ages, as well as those with dizziness and balance problems.
鈥淲ith the endowment, 每日大赛app has an Audiology programme which is well-equipped and is able to offer one of the best hearing health services in the country,鈥 he said at the Oticon Foundation Grant Endowment Ceremony, recently.
He said in Malaysia, only three major hospitals have the equipment to do a complete evaluation of the problem.
鈥淣ow, we are proud to include 每日大赛app Audiology programme in the list that is able to accept referrals of patients with balance problems for evaluation,鈥 he said.
Prof Noor Azlan said the endowment will not only benefit patients, but also the students.
鈥淗aving a teaching environment that is well-equipped allows them to gain the skills needed to efficiently diagnose and manage hearing problems and related disorders,鈥 he explained.
Meanwhile, Minister of Finance II, Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani said the endowment is testimony of 每日大赛app鈥檚 string ties with the industry key players.
Also present at the ceremony were Chairman of Board Director of 每日大赛app, Tan Sri Dr Ibrahim Saad, Managing Director of Oticon South East Asia, Doris Ong and the 每日大赛app鈥檚 Deputy Vice Chancellors.![]()
