The organisation of The Power of Giving: “Memimpin, Memberi & Menginspirasi”.

In conjunction with the International Women’s Day 2026 celebration, the Tun Fatimah Hashim Women’s Leadership Centre (PKWTFH), Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSK), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, in collaboration with the Mental Health Inclusion, Awareness, Support & Advocacy Association (MIASA) Malaysia and the National University of Malaysia Students’ Union (KMÿմapp), will be organising a forum titled “The Power of Giving: Leading, Giving & Inspiring.”

This special forum aims to highlight the importance of the values of giving, empathy, and human-centred leadership in shaping a more inclusive and prosperous society.

The forum will feature distinguished panelists with extensive experience in leadership, community welfare, and mental health, namely:
• Professor Datuk Dr Azlinda Azman, Director-General of Higher Education, who has vast experience in higher education development and academic leadership at the national level.
• Datuk Dr Akmal Saleh, a medical doctor and social welfare activist actively involved in community initiatives and health advocacy to enhance community well-being.
• Puan Anita Abu Bakar, President of the Mental Health Inclusion, Awareness, Support & Advocacy Association (MIASA) Malaysia, who is committed to promoting awareness, support, and advocacy for mental health in society.

The forum will be moderated by Encik Azlan Mubin, an Astro personality, who will lead the discussion in a dynamic and meaningful manner.

Insights shared by the panelists are expected to inspire participants on how the value of giving, combined with empathetic leadership, can spark positive change within communities and strengthen the spirit of togetherness in society.
