The Selangor International Care Summit 2025 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
On 11 October 2025, the Tun Fatimah Hashim Women鈥檚 Leadership Centre (PKWTFH) attended the Selangor International Care Summit 2025, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
With the theme 鈥淐are is Work. Care is Worth. The Future is in Care,鈥 the summit brought together various stakeholders to discuss the direction of Malaysia鈥檚 care industry, which encompasses childcare, eldercare, and community healthcare.
The care industry is not merely a form of social support, as it is a vital pillar of economic development and societal well-being. In Malaysia, the majority of the workforce in this sector consists of women, who play significant roles as both professional and informal caregivers.
PKWTFH鈥檚 participation in this convention reflects its commitment to strengthening policies, leadership, and women鈥檚 development opportunities within the care industry; ensuring that the value and contribution of care work are properly recognised and appreciated.
