Women Police Leadership and Management Development Seminar
On the last 8 December 2025, members of the Centre for Women鈥檚 Leadership Tun Fatimah Hashim (PKWTFH) attended the Women Police Leadership and Management Development Seminar held at Dewan Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Royal Malaysia Police College, Kuala Lumpur.
Seminar Session 1, entitled 鈥淐ourageous and Credible: Women鈥檚 Leadership in the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM)鈥, was delivered by YBhg. Tan Sri Dr. Sharifah Zarah Syed Ahmad, Associate Senior Fellow of PKWTFH.
During the session, she shared insights on global developments in the women鈥檚 equality agenda since the International Women鈥檚 Year (1975) and the First World Conference on Women in Mexico City, highlighting how this international momentum has continued to shape policies, leadership opportunities, and women鈥檚 participation in the security sector, including within the Royal Malaysia Police.
