Oral Presentation:
- All abstracts submitted for oral presentation will be assessed by the scientific committee, and only selected abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation. The unselected abstracts will be offered for e-poster presentation.
- Oral presenters can choose to participate in the CoMedH Clinical/Basic Science Investigator Award Competition or present without competition. Only the top 5 abstracts will be selected for the competition for Clinical and Basic Science tracks, respectively.
- All oral presentations will be allocated 10-minute slots, with 8 minutes for presentation time and a 2-minute question-and-answer session.
- The PowerPoint slides of the presentation must be shared with the organizer prior to the Congress , and no modifications should be made after the submission. Submission details will be provided via email.
e-Poster Presentation:
- All e-posters will be shared online via Google Drive with the participants for viewing.
- Only the top 9 abstracts for Clinical and Basic Science tracks, respectively, will be selected for rapid oral presentation during tea breaks at the Congress. The allocated time is 5 minutes, with 3 minutes for presentation and a 2-minute question-and-answer session.
- The e-posters must be prepared in A1 size, 594 mm (w) x 841 mm (h), portrait orientation and submitted in pdf format.
- The e-posters must be shared with the organizer prior to the Congress, and no modifications should be made after the submission. Submission details will be provided via email.
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- Abstract preparation for oral and e-poster presentation will adhere to the same guidelines.
- The deadline for abstract submission is 30 April 2024.
- Please utilize the abstract template provided on the following page for abstract preparation.

Abstract Formatting Guidelines:
- Abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
- Abstracts should be written in English.
- Font type should be Times New Roman with a font size of 12.
- Line spacing should be set at 1.15.
- Title:
- Centered and in bold.
- Capitalized the first letter of each word, except articles (a, an, the), coordinating conjunctions (and, or, for) and prepositions (for, to, in, between).
- Author’s name:
- Ìý
- First (Given) name followed by last (family) name
- Use superscript (a, b, c) after the name to indicate different affiliations.
- The presenter’s name should be underscored.
- Mark the corresponding author with an asterisk (*) after the superscript alphabet.
- Affiliation:
- Centered and italicized.
- Address should be concise as indicated in the template.
- Start a new line for each different affiliation.
- Correspondence:
- Centered and italicized.
- Provide the corresponding author’s email address.
- Abstract:
- Paragraph is Justified and NOT bold.
- Write in a single paragraph.
- The content should be limited to 250 words.
- Do not include reference or citation.
- Keywords:
- Justified and NOT bold.
- Include a maximum of 5 keywords.
- Separate each keyword with a semi-colon (;).
