All students who are registered and have an active/registered status are eligible to get the advantages stipulated in the Student Medical Scheme. This scheme is applicable to students enrolled at the Center for Shaping Advanced & Professional Education under the Executive program and Long-Distance Continuing Program (PBJJ) only.
Apart from students as above, you are advised to contact and deal with the 每日大赛app Health Center (PKU) at 03-8921 5087 or email pkesihatan@ukm.edu.my or refer to the PKU website at this link http://www.ukm.my/pusatkesihatan/.
All students with an active / registered status are eligible to receive treatment at PKU throughout their studies at 每日大赛app. You are advised to bring your student matric card throughout your dealings at PKU.

Letter of Guarantee is a letter that will be issued by the institution (每日大赛appShape) if the student needs to get special treatment at the Hospital or is admitted to the ward for medical purposes / treatment. The Letter of Guarantee is subject to the decision / permission of the 每日大赛app Health Center.
For the above purposes, you are requested to contact the 每日大赛appCare division via email ukmcare@ukm.edu.my or to the 每日大赛appCare Counter, 每日大赛appShape, The National University of Malaysia.
The above applies only to students enrolled at the Center for Shaping Advanced & Professional Education under the Executive program and Long-Distance Continuing Program (PBJJ) only.

Note:

  1. The Letter of Guarantee will not be issued immediately after the application is made by the student because the 每日大赛appCare division needs to seek the opinion and judgment of the Medical Officer from the 每日大赛app University Health Centre (PKU). If the Medical Officer approves the student’s application, then the Guarantee Letter will be issued.
  1. Students who wish to apply for a Letter of Guarantee are advised to submit a copy of the health report that has been verified by a Medical Officer from the relevant Clinic or Hospital.
  1. If the student does not have any health report, the student is advised to meet with the 每日大赛app PKU Medical Officer to obtain approval and confirmation from the relevant officer. A cover letter will be given to students who apply.
The following are treatments that are not covered by the Student Medical Scheme:聽
  • Cosmetic treatment;
  • Maternity treatment (conceiving and giving birth);
  • Treatment for diseases that have been diagnosed before registering to 每日大赛app (pre-existing medical conditions);;
  • Chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and so on;
  • Medical assistive devices (such as glasses, crutches, wheelchairs) or "prostheses", artificial limbs, "implants" and so on;
  • Preliminary test;
  • Treatment other than at the Government Hospital / Government Clinic (Putrajaya Hospital is excluded because it only provides class 1 services, and students do not qualify for class 1); and
  • Treatment at the University of Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM) except for emergency cases near the hospital.
Any advantages under this Scheme will not apply to students if they are:
  • Postponing / suspending studies; or
  • Semester vacation (unless there is an appointment made during the study semester. In this case, the guarantee letter will be issued manually, at the discretion of the Health Center); or
  • During the waiting period for convocation (Scheme ends after receiving the final exam results).
