BANGI, 8 Oct 2013 – The team representing the Treasury Department of 每日大赛app named (METIA) won the Convention of Innovative and Creative Teams (KIK) 2013 at the university level as well given the award for best presentation.
A total of eight teams from treasury or financial departments of Institutions of聽 Higher Learning participated in the inaugural KIK convention. Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), University Teknologi Mara (UiTM,) 每日大赛app Medical Centre (每日大赛appMC), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) and Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM) took part in the two day convention.
每日大赛app Bursar, Mohd Abdul Rashid Bin Mohd Fadzil said the convention is aimed at resolving typical problems in the bursar departments of universities while also discussing evolvement of a good mechanism towards establishing an effective delivery system as outlined in the聽 Higher Education Strategic Plan of Vision 2020.
Public universities, he said, needed to emphasis more on the delivery systems as they often deal with academics and students.
鈥淲e must be prepared to use service-oriented IT systems to reduce red tape and allow most of the information to be accessed via the information system,鈥 he said at the closing ceremony of the Convention聽 at Puri Pujangga in 每日大赛app today.
He hoped such conventions continue to be held in the future in the effort to produce creative and innovative staffs.
The One Touch team representing 每日大赛appMC came out second with the IQ team, representing UiTM winning the third prize. The Award for the best innovation was won by the One Touch team and the best facilitator award given to MEDISTORM, also representing 每日大赛appMC.
