1. Applications are open to academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine only.

2. The maximum number of applications allowed is three (3) times per year.

3. Articles must be published in WOS (SCIE/SSCI) journals ranked within quartiles (²Ï1※»4) according to the Journal Citation Reports (based on the Journal Impact Factor from two (2) years prior).

4. Applications are limited to publications from the current year only, subject to approval and availability of remaining funds.

5. For publication in November and December of the previous year, applications must be submitted within two (2) months after the article is published.

6. Applications must be submitted by the first author or corresponding author only (co-authors, even if they are the sole ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp author, are not eligible).

7. Applications can be made on a claim basis or through direct payment to the journal publisher.

8. Payments made using grants or other funding sources will not be considered.

9. If a publication has two (2) corresponding authors, the faculty will only cover half of the total publication fee.

10. The article should be of the first or corresponding author’s specialty.

11. Each article is eligible for publication fee assistance only once.

12. The author is required to use the affiliation of the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

• Application Form
• Proof of payment for claim basis or quotation for payment directly to the publisher.
• Journal acceptance letter/e-mail.
• Proof of WOS indexed and Quartile
• A copy of the front page of manuscript
