ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp Soars in Healthy University Rating System (HURS)
ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp achieved a remarkable 5+ star rating (an improvement over the previous 5 stars in 2022) in the 2023 Healthy University Rating System (HURS) organized by the Asean University Network (AUN). This outstanding accomplishment reflects ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp’s commitment to promoting health and well-being across the university community.
This achievement stems from ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp’s intensified health promotion initiatives, including : Expanded staff participation in health check-ups, integration of health-promoting elements into curriculum and co-curricular activities, focus on health-related research, enhanced control and awareness programs for alcohol, drug abuse, and gambling prevention and initiatives to improve knowledge and health culture among staff and students.
In recognition of ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp’s excellence, we were invited to share our best practices in health promotion management at a seminar titled “Managing Health Promoting University to Improve Healthy Lifestyle after the Pandemic” hosted by Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, representing the AUN-HPN (Asean University Network – Health Promotion Network). Assoc Prof. Dr. Fairus Mohd Yusoff, from the ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp Strategy Center and Director of the University Health Center, will represent ÿÈÕ´óÈüapp at the event on May 17, 2024.
